Do I need R3 hardware to use DigiOps?

No. DigiOps is stand-alone software. You can deploy it on top of an existing battery disassembly operation without installing any R3 robotic cells. It is the entry point for operators who want visibility into performance before committing to DaaS or RaaS.

Is DigiOps a manufacturing execution system (MES)?

No. DigiOps is purpose-built for battery disassembly, not a generic MES. It complements existing MES tooling rather than replacing it: think of DigiOps as OEE software for the disassembly process specifically.

What does DigiOps measure?

Three dimensions: throughput (how many packs per shift), cycle times (how long each disassembly step takes) and process efficiency (how consistently the process runs across shifts and pack types). All measurements are logged per pack so you keep full traceability.

Can DigiOps work across multiple shifts and different pack types?

Yes. DigiOps is built for variability. R3’s shared product library covers over 100 battery pack formats, approximately 74% of Europe’s end-of-life BEV return volume. New formats are onboarded through R3’s Battery Intake Process.
